About Kitchen Consultants
Kitchen Consultants, Inc. was created in February of 1995 by Brent & Marilyn Ovens. The original showroom was located in Milan and stayed there until 2006 when it relocated to the Iowa side of the river in Bettendorf. In January of 2012, they moved back to Milan with a whole new concept of how the business was to be run. Due to customers busy lives and being overwhelmed by too many choices when they entered a large showroom, the Ovens’ decided to downsize their showroom to a studio/office size and concentrate on taking the ideas directly to the customers homes. By being able to see the lifestyle that the customer lives in helps in all aspects of the project such as door styles, stain colors, floor type, lighting, whether or not a wall should be removed, and the list goes on and on. Customer’s lifestyles definitely dictate our designs!
Brent has been in the construction/ kitchen design business for 30 plus years, Marilyn joined the business shortly after its opening and now has 15 years of experience under her belt. Listening to the wants and needs of our customers is what we do best. It is so satisfying taking a broken down, poorly designed space and turning it into the most desired room in the house….. Whether it is the kitchen, bathroom or living room cabinetry, we design to please.

Our design studio is open by appointment. We cater to each individual as needed. The majority of our appointments are in your own home at your convenience, whether it be early morning or evenings, weekdays or weekends, we try to work around your busy schedule.

We have our own installation crew that are all professionals that take pride in their work. Leave the worry to us. On an average, most kitchen remodels take up to 4 weeks from start to finish. We pride ourselves on staying on time so that you are without your kitchen as little time as possible.
